Yoga helps to relax your nervous system, which leads to a better sleep. The meditation and relaxation aspects yoga helps with clarity of the mind, which leads to better concentration and clearer thinking.

Twists, bridges and other asanas (postures or poses in other words) in yoga aid in bettering your metabolism, which then leads to increases in energy, faster calorie burn, and helps you in utilizing more vitamins and minerals.

Yoga poses, and core holding has been clinically shown to reduce pain and disability while improving flexibility and functional mobility in people. Many people who CrossFit find Yoga to be exactly what they need in order to increase their performance. For this reason, we offer a FREE classes to BVCF members and a nominal fee to the public.
